This blog talks about extraordinary grandmothers who care for their children and eventually takes responsibility for their orphaned grandchildren. Despite many challenges they stand together against AIDS and poverty that continue to overwhelm communities by telling their stories in an effort to bring change. The Nevergiveups photo exhibition acknowledges these challenges as well as their strength in the communities, as carers and activists. This is a story of hope with the purpose of reaching many others by portraying their struggle, love and unwillingness to give up.
